Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1 - Ahmedabad – Bhuj (400 KM)
After you arrive at Ahmedabad in the morning and drive to Bhuj. This historic city gets its name from the Bhujiyo Dungar, which is a hill overlooking the present day Bhuj. It is a desert town located between Bhujiyo Dungar on the east and Hamirsar Lake on the west.
Day 2 - Explore Banni Village
After a tasty breakfast, enjoy a day excursion to Banni region. The endless desert land of Gujarat is dotted with little villages that happen to be the last on India-Pakistan border. You will also see the famous Banni Embroidery of Kutch, which is a kind of needle work indigenous to Banni. The local people usually engage here in various occupations, the primary being embroidery, leather work, dairy and other cottage industries.
Day 3 - Bhuj – Jamnagar (300 KM)
Today drive to Jamnagar. Visit the famous Bala Hanuman Temple, which is flocked by several devotees of Lord Rama. It is known for its continuous chanting of Jai Ram, Shri Ram, which is going on since 1964. The name of the Lord is chanted in shifts by people 24 hours a day and this has found a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. Overnight stay will be arranged at Jamnagar.
Day 4 - Jamnagar – Dwarka (145 KM)
Today after a tasty breakfast, proceed to Dwarka. In the afternoon, proceed to visit Nageshwar and Bet Dwarka. Your visit to Dwarka is incomplete without a visit to Bet Dwarka, which is an island at a distance of 30 Kms. Also, visit the Rukmani Temple. There are several temples of Vishnu, Radha, Lakshmi, Satyabhama, Jambavati and Devaki at Bet Dwarka. You will also enjoy the ferry ride from Dwarka to the island of Bet near Okha. Nageshwar Mandir is another famous temple situated towards Okha and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later, visit Gomati Village, Gomati Mandir and Gomati Talav. Overnight stay will be arranged at Dwarka.
Day 5 - Dwarka – Somnath ( 250 KM)
Today after a tasty breakfast proceed to Somnath. It is known for its imposing Kailash temple, which flaunts a 50-meter high tower, elaborate carvings and numerous holy idols and images. Overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel.
Day 6 - Somnath – Ahmedabad ( 430 KM)
Drive to Ahmedabad today. Founded in the year 1411 AD, the city sits on the banks of river Sabarmati. It is known as the 'Manchester of the East' and boasts of its industries and textiles. The ancient city is dotted exquisitely carved wooden mansions and havelis and offers a glimpse into the rich architectural legacy of the Hindu and Muslim schools of architecture. Enjoy a relaxed overnight stay at Ahmedabad upon arrival.
Day 7 - Sightseeing and Airport Drop
After a refreshing breakfast today proceed for sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the famous Gandhi Ashram, located on the stretch of Sabarmati River. Also, visit Sidi Sayed Mosque, the Jumma Masjid, the Teen Darwaja and the Hutheesing Jain Temple. After the sightseeing tour, head to the airport for your onward journey.
